Pre-Registration

Per ISBE (the Illinois State Board of Education) school law, all students entering the district must provide (2) proofs of residency. Carefully review the acceptable forms of residency verification below and upload two complete, unaltered items that satisfy the requirement. The images must show the full page with only sensitive information such as SSNs or account numbers redacted. Incomplete or invalid documents (partial, edited, or an item not listed below) will be rejected.
 

Acceptable Forms of Proof of Residency:

• Current year's property tax bill

• Mortgage statement (dated within 60 days)

• Closing documents on a recent home purchase (dated within 90 days)

• Signed and current lease agreement

• Current utility bill (e.g., electric, gas, water, internet, cable; dated within 60 days)

• Bank statement (dated within 60 days)

• Voter registration card

• Form IL-1040, US-1040, or other tax return form from the most recent tax year

• An official piece of mail (submit the full letter, not a picture of the envelope) from a federal, state, or local government agency (dated within 60 days)
   

Submitted images must show:

• A legal parent/guardian's full name, as listed on the child's birth certificate or court order

• The student's physical street address

• All 4 corners of the document (full page). Pictures of a folded letter or a letter still in an envelope can not be accepted
