Welcome to Mrs. Kirkham's Reading Class!

We will be learning reading strategies to enable us to become stronger readers.  Students will need a notebook for daily vocabulary note taking.  The vocabulary notes wil be used weekly for practice. Students will be able to use their notes for open note quizzes.

TEXTBOOK TUESDAY

Each Tuesday, students will reinforce content area reading by using the textbook.

Freshmen will use Physical Science and novels read during English I.  Sophomores will use Biology I and novels read during English II.  Juniors will use various textbooks and practice for the ACT.  The ACT will be given in April.
